Some libraries from Collected Transients may contain markers embedded in the files. In a nutshell, these markers provide an easy visual reference for particular points within the file. This is particularly helpful in longer recordings. Rather than playing through the entire file to find that one distant car horn you were looking for, a marker can help you jump right to it.
